Nickelback was formed in Hannain Alberta by Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger and Ryan Peake. As time passedby, Nickelback outshone as a rock band and received huge success inevery part of the world. In fact their hit single "How You Remind Me"from their very third album scrapped to the zenith on the CanadianSingles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100. In 2000, Nickelback independently releasedtheir second full album which was titled "The State". In fact duringthis time Canada witnessed the expiration of a law that proved to be highlybeneficial for Nickelback. The law declared that Canadian contentrequirement must be increased for Canadian radio. Now due to this lawlocal radio stations were rigorously looking out for about Canadian rockbands that they could sing for them and raise the Canadian radiostations. It was so when Nickelback gained a lot as a consequence of thislaw and their popularity reached new levels.

Nickelback has wonnine Juno Awards, an American Music Award, an MTV Video Music Award forBest Video from a Film (Hero), and a Global Music Award for World`sBest-Selling Rock Artist. The band also got nominated for seven GrammyAwards, four American Music Awards and twelve Juno Awards.In fact onthe 4th of December 2006, Nickelback won three Billboard Music Awardsout of five nominations.
